Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how VibeCom ("we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our AI marketing agent platform. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information more broadly.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites work properly, remember your preferences, and provide a better experience. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which work in comparable ways. Some analytics and diagnostics providers use cookies, local storage, session storage, or in-memory identifiers depending on the browser and product configuration.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary

Required for the Service to function. These handle authentication, session management, locale preferences, referral attribution, first-party visitor attribution, cookie preferences, and security. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality, and do not require your consent.

Analytics

Help us understand how the Service is used, which features are most helpful, where users encounter issues, and how we can improve. This includes Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager and Vercel Analytics. Known Google Analytics cookies are cleared when you decline analytics in the cookie banner.

Diagnostics

We use Sentry for error monitoring, performance tracing, logs, and limited session replay in production. Sentry helps us diagnose broken workflows and improve reliability. It may use cookies, storage, or similar identifiers depending on its runtime behavior.

Referral Tracking

When you visit VibeCom through an affiliate referral link (e.g. vibecom.app/?ref=CODE), we set a cookie named vibecom_ref to attribute your signup to the referring affiliate. This cookie contains only the referral code, expires after 30 days, and is used solely for commission tracking. It is set automatically and is necessary for the affiliate program to function.

First-Party Attribution

We use first-party cookies and local storage to understand which VibeCom pages, campaigns, and referral sources led to signups, trials, and purchases. These identifiers help us connect anonymous visits to later account events so we can measure what is working, debug acquisition paths, and avoid relying only on third-party analytics. They do not contain your name, email address, payment details, or product content.

4. Your Cookie Choices

When you first visit the Service, we show a cookie consent banner where you can accept or decline non-essential cookies (analytics). Strictly necessary cookies are always active as they are required for the Service to function. Declining analytics clears known Google Analytics cookies managed by our cookie banner.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer. You may also withdraw consent by clearing your cookies — your preferences will be requested again on your next visit.

Declining non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to use the core features of the Service.

5. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the Service.

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

6. Changes to This Policy
